Textures of Spurn is now hung in the Meeting Room Gallery at South Square ready for the preview tonight and including the three new Spurn Cloths that were in my last posting.
The preview is tonight from 7 – 9pm (do come if you’re local) and then the exhibition is on until 28th October. Opening hours are 12 – 3pm Tuesday – Sunday. There are three gallery spaces at South Square as well as artists’ studios and the most amazing veggie cafe.
I just opened a shop on Etsy. I’ve never done anything like this before and so I’m feeling my way with the whole thing: pricing, shipping, describing etc. So far I’ve listed the three artworks that featured in the 6 Inch Cube exhibition at South Square Gallery. More to come soon, including some new cards I hope.
On Saturday I went to South Square in Thornton to see 6 inch cube.
I have three pieces in this varied little exhibition, where all artworks fit within the dimensions of a six inch cube.
I will be exhibiting in this space on my own next year so it was good to see the gallery in action, and be entertained by some of the more surprising artworks… Heidi Harding’s cube and (in one of the other galleries) Claire Harbottle’s Nailing Jelly were particularly enjoyable!
There is a lovely veggie cafe at South Square alongside the three gallery spaces, studios and shops.
