Spurn Point – Artist in Residence

Alice was Artist in Residence at Spurn National Nature Reserve, East Yorkshire during 2012. Over a six-month period Alice engaged with and responded creatively to the unique landscape of Spurn.

The residency culminated in an exhibition weekend in the old lighthouse at Spurn on 21-23rd September and was followed by a gallery tour throughout 2013.

An 80 page book was published to document the residency with Alice’s images and diary extracts and is available to order here.  A slide show documenting the development of the project can be viewed here. More information about the project and the gallery tour can be found on the residency blog.

This project was in partnership with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and was supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

  1. Hi Jennifer. I can send a paypal invoice to your email address. The postage rate of £3 is for within the UK and I think you’re in the USA (I hope I’m right) therefore it will be £5 postage. I hope that’s OK. Best wishes, Alice.

  2. Hi Consuelo. I’ll send you an invoice for the book via paypal. I do have Tide Marks books available. I am hoping to get them up o the website soon so you can either wait for that or I can send you a list of those available and then detailed photos of any you might be interested in. Thanks, Alice

  3. Hi Hattie. If you want to pay by cheque you can post one to me at the address on the contacts page. If you prefer to pay by PayPal let me know and I’ll send you an invoice to your email address. Are you in the UK? If so it is £13 or £15 for the rest of the world. Best wishes, Alice

  6. Hi Clare, I do have copies of the Spurn book available. If you look on the right hand side of my website all my books are shown as images. Click on the one you are interested in and it will take you through to the online shop, where you can order and pay. I hope that makes sense..
